This week we have a good bit going. Today, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday we have a series of “fun days” that we are running like a mini VBS. Several of the schools are on their spring holiday this week, which enables us to do these. Please be in prayer for the fun days as we try to creatively communicate the love and Good News of God. The fun days are largely being led by the participants so please be in prayer for them as well as it is an awesome opportunity for them.
Tonight, in addition to my weekly discipleship time with Dean, our team is putting on a “youth cafe” for the local youth. We aren’t exactly sure who will show up be we hope that those that do come will come with open hearts and won’t be looking to cause problems. It is mainly an event to hang out but there are a few “God moments” throughout the evening as well so we hope that these moments with strike a chord in the youth that come to the cafe.
Thursday and Friday I have the opportunity to go to Bath, England. One of my supporters is from there and is currently visiting family and friends. I’m excited for the opportunity to catch up with him and also see a beautiful part of England.
We have about three and half weeks of regular ministry left and then about a week and a half to get ready to head home. It’s crazy to think that my time is nearly done here in England. Please pray that we will make the most of these final opportunities we have to share the light and love of Christ.
Philippians 3:13-14 says:
No, dear brothers and sisters, I am still not all I should be, but I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. I strain to reach the end of the race and receive the prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us up to heaven.
On the Journey,
Chad
