So, yesterday we began our "Top Secret Adventure" fun days at St. James. The Salford schools are on half-term (like winter break) this week so our ministry activities are a bit different. Basically, this is like a little three day mini VBS that we are doing that is a detective theme. We are helping the kids discover the meaning of the words love, truth, and forgiveness through bible stories, crafts, songs, games, and group activities. I'm leading the music with the young lad who I teach guitar to on Sundays and meet with on Tuesdays. He did a brilliant job yesterday and I look forward to seeing him grow and enjoy himself over the next two days. I met last night with him for our regular discipleship time. He continues to grow and learn and it is so exciting to help him along on his journey. I should be able to post some pictures our our "Top Secret Adventure" later in the week.

In other news, I leave for South Africa a week from today!! I am so excited to see Heather, her life, her ministry, other staff friends, and to get to explore a beautiful part of the world. Please be in prayer for me as I travel as it will take me about 24 hours to get there. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures when I'm there and keep you all updated on all the latest developments.
