So I’m proper excited to be going to this HUGE Christian music and arts festival this weekend called Greenbelt. For more info copy and paste this link into your web browser:

Last year there was something like 20,000 people who attended. There are music artists such as Matt Redman, Delirious, and Kevin Max who will be there. Additionally there are also loads of speakers, comedians, workshops etc. I’ll be roughing it Friday to Tuesday camping out in the countryside, possibly going a few days without a shower, and eating loads of peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to hang out with many of my friends from England.
Some of you have asked about my address here in England. We’ll be moving next week and once I confirm the postcode at our new house I’ll post my address for you all.
Living and Loving, Life and God!!
Chaddington
This sounds so amazing and I know you are going to have a great time! We all miss you and are praying for you. Have a blast, and don’t forget the jelly. Love you so much, Mom
Great that you are going to Greenbelt Chad – we’re sure you’ll love it – Karen and I were regular campers for a few years and helped set up a storytelling venue there a couple of times too. Its a great melting pot of ideas and artistry.
Quite a few friends will be there from our church in Bath – one of them MAY be speaking his name is Dave Wiles – I’m not sure though. John Bell from the Iona Community is always worth listening too and if the Iona Community are leading worship be sure to take that in too – look out for their worship resources as well – more folky than you are used to but often very powerful and challenging lyrics.
Don’t miss the amazing commservice on Sunday morning – you’ll never forget it.
To NOT shower IS part of the Greenbelt experience – don’t forget your tooth brush and loo roll or, in the vernacular, bog roll (toilet tissue to the unenlightened)! The loos are the one thing we don’t miss – but believe it or not they are MUCH better than they used to be!
Have fun and we hope the weather is kind – if not, just join in the fun and have a mud bath/slide – that might be the ONLY reason to have a shower!!! Much love Robin & Karen
What fun! Sometimes youth is NOT wasted on the young. We’re sure you will have a great time. Enjoy the fellowship and the spirit of Christ at the event.
Be safe and God bless
